El texto es una polifonía de voces que hacen de la obra una “novela escénica”, transitoriedad que reclama una puesta en escena que transgrede los límites de un teatro basado en el conflicto. ‘El vuelo de Leonor’ desarrolla el universo del personaje de la madre, concebida de forma amplia: la madre biológica en diálogo y contrapunto con la madre adoptiva y la madre tierra. Es una reflexión sobre lo femenino, visto en el contexto de transición de la mitad del siglo XX, en el que la mujer se debate entre su rol de madre/esposa y su desempeño en la vida productiva; una multidisciplinar que hace énfasis en el uso del cuerpo y la&nbsp; voz como herramientas fundamentales. Con música en vivo, Umbral Teatro&nbsp; propone una puesta en escena minimalista anclada en las practicas del teatro&nbsp; contemporáneo, en la que coexisten elementos de teatro físico y dramático,&nbsp; articulados a partir del texto, la música, lo sonoro y el ritmo, en diálogo con&nbsp; elementos de video mapping y audiovisual. Las elecciones formales responden a&nbsp; las necesidades del texto, una dramaturgia de primerísimos planos que trae el&nbsp; eco del rumor y a su vez, ahonda en los silencios, en lo que los personajes callan,&nbsp; en lo indecible. RUMOR es una reflexión sobre el miedo, sobre la gente común, presa de oscuros intereses políticos y económicos que determinan su destino y cuya voz se hace presente en escena. RUMOR se constituye en una mirada poética sobre sucesos históricos que han dejado una profunda herida: acciones infringidas sobre las mujeres y sus cuerpos como botines de guerra, infancias y familias truncadas,&nbsp; un homenaje a los cientos de personas castigadas con la muerte por tejer comunidad.&nbsp; El texto, Beca de creación en dramaturgia del Ministerio de Cultura 2015, escrito a partir de La obra trata del afán de los personajes por defender a sus familias de un destino que parece inexorable: jóvenes extraviados en un presente que se les escapa, enredados en la maraña de los intereses de adultos sin rostro. Personas del común a merced de un estado ausente y autoritario a su vez. Es un mundo peligroso de delaciones y recompensas, acusaciones ambiguas de delitos que tampoco resultan claros. La esperanza de recuperar a los seres queridos se desvanece, sin que quede rastro de su historia, registro de su nombre o su dolor. Se trata una propuesta multidisciplinar, que hace énfasis en el uso de un cuerpo no cotidiano; una experiencia de carácter musical, plástico y dancístico, que usa recursos cinematográficos, intervenciones audiovisuales e instalaciones sonoras, que aluden al sentido profundo del texto teatral. Festival Internacional de Teatro de Tunja 2018.&nbsp; De peinetas que hablan y otras rarezas beca de creación dramatúrgica del Ministerio de Cultura, 2011, &nbsp;está inspirada en la vida de la recicladora más anciana que hay en Bogotá, quien mediante laboratorios de memoria, entrego a la autora el material que le permitió construir un universo fantástico, que&nbsp; se refiere a una atroz realidad, pasada por el filtro poético. Es una propuesta escénica donde conviven el teatro, la literatura, la música y algunos elementos cinematográficos, de danza e instalaciones sonoras; un lenguaje que guarda relación con el tono onírico y fantástico propuesto por la autora, como estrategia para abordar asuntos tan crudos como el desplazamiento y la violencia que genera el proceso de renovación urbana. Umbral Teatro trabajo durante seis meses en un laboratorio de investigación en torno al texto y su potencial escénico, hasta lograr un montaje de creación colectiva, que formula preguntas a tono con Peer Gynt es quizás la más importante obra de Ibsen; la historia de un joven campesino amante de la mentira, atrevido e irreverente que fantasea con la riqueza y el poder. Umbral Teatro propone un montaje interdisciplinar que le permite profundizar en el diálogo entre la música, la danza y el teatro, proponiendo al espectador una rica experiencia sensorial, acompañada con la música de Edvard Grieg, quien la compuso para el estreno de la obra en el siglo XIX, de la que pervive la Suite de ocho movimientos, compuestos para escenas precisas y que sirvieron de base, para el trabajo dramatúrgico en la versión de Umbral Teatro. Ibsen cuestiona los valores y principios que rigen el destino del hombre de su tiempo, cuestionamientos que resultan vigentes en el mundo de hoy. Peer Gynt, arrastrado por la ambición rapta a una mujer y luego de vejarla la abandona a su suerte en las montañas por lo cual la justicia lo destierra. En su deambular por el bosque es engañado por los duendes y concibe un hijo monstruoso convirtiéndose en duende sin saberlo. Huyendo de sus actos, emprende largos viajes, se hace profeta y tratante de esclavos. Ya viejo decide regresar y es asaltado por los marinos. Es la presentación de los seres que somos —que creemos ser— tan complejos como los personajes teatrales que antes representábamos; un caleidoscopio de monólogos cruzados entre lo teatral y lo narrativo. Conviven en La que no fue historias heterogéneas con vasos comunicantes entre ellas. La escena concebida como un espacio que se llena de tiempos, el devenir, simultaneidades y alteraciones espacio-temporales. El tratamiento fragmentado de las historias propone al espectador desentrañarlas, completarlas, forjar su propia versión. Umbral Teatro ha indagado a fondo la historia como fuente, la crónica, el testimonio; en esta oportunidad hemos querido como grupo ir en búsqueda de nuevas teatralidades, buscar otras voces y ubicarnos en la riesgosa zona del Yo como fuente de la creación. El montaje se propuso como una creación colectiva, a partir de la indagación del imaginario de las actrices, de materiales afincados en su historia y su universo personal, los cuales fueron considerados comopretextos. Trabajar con la memoria personal y colectiva como germen, nos permitió ser sujeto y objeto de nuestra historia y participar en la construcción de una poética de lo femenino, a partir de indagar Un trabajo de Umbral Teatro a partir de El culebrero, texto del historiador colombiano Jorge Villegas, y del Misterio Bufo, la obra más conocida del Nobel italiano Darío Fo. La propuesta se sustenta en el riguroso estudio y creación de personajes populares que con su comicidad desenmascaran a la iglesia opulenta, que se ha olvidado de los pobres y da cuenta, con humor, de las grandes injusticias de los señores. Con una dramaturgia llena de anacronismos, que se constituye en vértice del siglo I, el medioevo y el presente, la obra posibilita un diálogo de tiempos y culturas. Antes es una propuesta que ha renunciado a la espectacularidad, en busca de los registros interiores de personajes al final de la ruta. Es una puesta en escena minimalista que indaga la dramaturgia de la acción, permitiendo al espectador acercarse a los aspectos más íntimos de seres sin salida, habitantes de un mundo despiadado donde no encuentran lugar. Personajes del siglo pasado, que soportan la huella que deja en su vida cotidiana la acción de un gobierno policivo y autoritario. El elenco abordó el montaje de esta creación colectiva a partir de la indagación escénica de materiales en torno a la vejez, encontrados en la historia personal de cada actor y puestos en diálogo con personajes emblemáticos de la literatura colombiana, en particular el coronel y su mujer de El coronel no tiene quien le escriba de Gabriel García Márquez y el cuento Los desenterradores del escritor Eduardo Mantilla Trejos. Festival de Teatro Alternativo Bogotá 2014.&nbsp; Gallina y el Otro indaga la imagen del país rural, del otro país, del torturado; y para ello, el grupo encuentra un lenguaje, aborda la desgracia a partir de lo muy pequeño, del indicio, en busca de un trazo sutil que pueda convertirse en metáfora y metonimia del presente. Los espectadores asisten a la luchaa muerte entre seres manipulados, anónimos, que viven un destino impuesto por la lógica de dioses terrenos, que desde su impudicia escriben historias sangrientas. Es una trama policíaca de seres desconocidos e indefensos, perdidos en el caos de un hoy que no escogieron. Personajes que en lo confuso, inician la búsqueda del rostro del enemigo y de sí mismos. La pieza explora lo irremediable. Si arrojar luz sobre el horror de gritos ocultos sirviera para evitarlos, esta obra tendría razón de ser; pero no será así. Gallina y el otro es una pregunta sobre lo inútil.
